Investigation on the use digital controls instead of PID analog controls in the level control of steam generators of nuclear power PWR. From this assessment are pointed the most suitable models in hierarchical scale. It is intended to identify the types of digital controls that are available from the theoretical and conceptual viewpoints for this purpose.
