Pretty much every form of graphic-file related theme I’ve so far seen and a few other varieties we may think of is supported by WinterBoard, all using the SummerBoard model of “the safe other folder”. But thanks for clearing it up for sure and thanks for the reply: An example of this are the pictures used for battery status on the lock screen. For example, if you set a theme using the WinterBoard Settings and then you go in a choose a theme from WinterBoard itself…it will override the theme you ovfrride using the WinterBoard Settings and vice versa.
I want theming to be a fun, safe experience that can be taken up by anybody without special tools. A lot has changed since WinterBoard launched. Through WinterBoard, designers can create their own designs for most interface elements in iOS, including things like the default app icons or the appearance of the home screen dock, lock screen, various backgrounds and the phone dialer, to name a few.

Winterboard truly is a setting I think. Of course, you need to know what you can put there to make this feature useful. So for the iOS 7 haters out there, what will it take before you can override the new bubblegum look? For one thing, wihterboard practice itself is growing more popular. For design-conscious users, the end wlnterboard of all this hard work is a repository of alternative themes.
