And then it hit me! Just click to enter. Taping the pillow to the frame made writing on the fabric much easier. Way easier than painting it afterwards although you can also do that if for some reason you wanted to change the colour in a certain area for instance. Perfect for our literature-loving household. Girl, this is beautifully done and your handwriting looks incredible.
The directions were very clear in how the paint should be applied: Everything arrives ready to paint: Is your table for use inside or outside? And then it hit me! I love that you did a poem stencipled your design! Scroll down for even more chances to win.

My Paint-a-Pillow Kit arrived on Friday afternoon and I quickly got down to the business of coming up with a design. It was very helpful that the kit came with a small swatch of the pillow fabric, which allowed me to test out the paint colours and my Sharpie pen. You are commenting using your Facebook account.

I simply turned the whole kit when I stencipled to change the angle of my writing! The final stanza of the poem jumped out at me as being the perfect inspiration for my pillow design:. Taping the pillow to the frame made writing on the fabric much easier.
I love the addition of the quote, so great! This is so cool!
Using the brush, I mixed the black and white paints together in darkening shades of grey and dabbed it on, beginning at the bottom of the stencil. Did you mix the paint right into the grout? To finish my pillow, Rwven added some grey braid as a frame for the Raven. Way easier than painting it afterwards although you can also do that if for some reason you wanted to change the colour in a certain area for instance. I am such a ridiculous fan of Edgar Allan Poe and everything that represents him, to include the Raven.

I carefully removed the stencil, washed my brushes and roller, and allowed the design to dry for several hours. The poem really does kick it up a notch.
